    Right, wired to a door ajar circuit, it will automatically switch to blackout mode when a door is opened.

    Really? All mine just have a single female Packard connector on them.

    That sounds plausible. It may be green or blue too, but yeah most likely red. Not sure why they went to the three pin connector. The old single wire connection was simple and worked fine.
