    M1009 Alternator assistance - tools

    Why not take it to the place you bought it and have them do it? Seems like that would be the solution to the problem if they did not provide you with a complete correct alternator. I had a CUCV alternator rebuild 8 months ago and the positive post came off, the shop took care of it at no cost.
