    Blackout toggles do nothing

Thanks! I'll check on it on my next off day. This has all been quite enjoyable. I look forward to tinkering with this thing more.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

GOT IT! I was sitting around this morning and it clicked to me. The jumper I mentioned previously (the one that runs behind the fuse panel and directly to the headlight switch) was also clipped on to half of a fuse. The other half was stuck in the fuse panel. That is how the power was also...

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Plot twist! While checking to see if all of the blackout lights were physically connected (they are) I found a tag bracket and tag light beneath the bed. I wonder if my bed was replaced. Also, the drive light is not hooked up. I found the connector coming to it, but the connector from the...

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Imposter switch has been removed. It was running up to the grill, but ended without reaching anything. The blue connector was bringing positive from a wire that comes from behind the fuse panel. Disconnect it, no lights at all. So now I need to find why the headlight switch isn’t receiving...

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Yeah, I see it now. There is another one too. I know now that they have bypassed the switches. My next feat is figuring out what the left switch goes to to see if I. Can eliminate it and undoing the bypass.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Yeah, I see it now. There is another one too. I know now that they have bypassed the switches. My next feat is figuring out what the left switch goes to to see if I. Can eliminate it and undoing the bypass. The only thing on the truck that I have found to be electrical and unoriginal is a...

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Now I see that there are some jumpers made. Too tough to photograph at the moment.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Well, I go look under the dash and see that the rivets are stil in place, both switchhes are there, no obvious jumpers (I’m no expert). As I go to get up, I notice something tucked up over some wires.... Now that I look I notice the left switch is not original. Looks like I have some...

    Will do.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

I haven't yet. Waiting on it to cool off outside. It's miserable.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

Yes, I’ve checked them at night. Even so, the toggles don’t kill the headlights in any configuration I’m sure the switches are bypassed. I just gotta dig to find out how and where.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

I get that. Toggle switches do nothing at all. They don’t enable or disable anything in any configuration. I assumed that they have been bypassed, so I was asking if there was a commonly used method to bypass them so I would know what to look for.

    Blackout toggles do nothing

All of the blackout lights are present in my truck. The toggle switches are there. All of the lights are physically plugged in behind the bumpers. However, the lights do nothing and the switches do nothing in any configurations. Is there any sort of commonly used way to disable the toggle...
