    Working On The M923A2

Sorry about leaving a gallon of sweat on the inner fender and engine.. ;). Glad you made it home, 9mpg sounds about right for a 923, 28 in a Tahoe? Unreal.

There shouldn't be any pressure in the ram unless actively turning. As in holding torque on the wheel. Alignment? Or different pressures in the steering axle wheels.

Yeah, I was a bit perplexed at that leak. Once the line clamps were loose, the line was free to swing away and a deep well 15mm socket easily tightened the loose tube adapter, apparently the anti rotation lock didn't work. I donated a gallon of sweat to the project. Still stinging in the eyes...

Yes, that canister is both a filter and water sep. The spring in the bottom is a positive clue. I don't understand NAPA stocking, other than to say they are independently owned franchises with some ability to view inventory at other stores. They do have quality parts, often OEM. Far cheaper...

And if you work fast, there is an auction with that part coming up for auction ;). Actually, 6 of those transducers, look new. Plus a host of other goodies. The USATACOM CAGEC means Cummins did not supply it. I have a fuel pressure gauge in the SECM we could use to see if the final filter is...

    Working On The M923A2

A search on the -24P TM under 'transducer' reveals the following, with my comments in parenthesis and the beef in red: 10 (item on figure 145), PAFZZ (SMR code, meaning a stocked part that field support can replace and cannot repair/adjust) 6695-01-146-7132 (NSN), 19207 (CAGEC, meaning who...

    Working On The M923A2

The -23 TM states the leaking fuel pressure transducer is a sign of flow resistance to the injection pump, either a slight plug in the lines or a filter that is clogged. I would suspect the filter after the priming pump is the issue. Also, the transducer controls the electric priming pump...
