    side note... My M172A1 25-ton trailer...long enough for 2-tracks...requires a wide load permit as it is 9'7" wide. Picked up my 1943 White M16 track in WI with it in Nov 2010.

    ...cost analysis... Let's see....about 4,500 mi. one way..9k total= $2K in diesel. Wide-load permits for 15 states= $550-$600. About 2-wks drive time and lost business=$2K. Nope...not very cost effective for this trip...LOL....
