Going to drive her home on Thursday!
I talked to the Fire Dept again and they fixed the sticking brake.
The only thing that does not work on the truck now is the fuel gauge and one of the taillights.
I will just check the tank a couple times during my trip when I take a rest stop and that...
Thanks for the link and yes I will definitely ask them if they know where the erdalator body is, that would make an awesome camper!
I know they got it about ten years ago and it came to them without the body.
But who knows, maybe it is still sitting somewhere.
I got a call from the fire dept I bough it from last week and they told me that they had removed the tank, charged the batteries and took it out for a little test drive. It was said to run good but one of the breaks was sticking.

And thanks for mentioning this website to me, it has a ton of...

To me it seems like it’s a 2.5 ton 6x6, so I thought all might have been a typo?
Anyway from what I could find online the only difference between the M35A2 and M45A2 is that the 45 was used as a water...
I just bought a Deuce and a half and am debating on how to get it home.
I bought it from a rural fire dept in Eastern WA and I live in Western WA about 300 miles one way.
It is said to run and drive well, (it was taken out of service in May 2011) but has not run since.
When I went out there...
