    Agreed! I don't think the zerk fitting makes any materiel difference in the strenght. It's more a matter of having a quality unit vs. cheap Chicom knock-off, I think. Easy, yes, but with all those cracks, it might be cheaper just to replace it. Can't hurt to get a quote.
