    Yeah, good idea. Those descriptions can be somewhat.... disconnected from reality. I told my insurance agent about GL, and he bid on a generator that was described as "needing repairs". But, hey, he got it really cheap. He was the only bidder. Got it home, and uncrated a brand-spanking new...

    Great price. Now to see what kind of shape it's in! Can't really tell from the photos. At least it's all in one piece. As for why it went cheaper? Sometimes it just happens like that. I don't think you can draw any conclusions from that.

    Yep. No problem for you, since you are shipping it, but make sure your shipper doesn't try to start it. Mine was shown as "driven onto lot", and they had a video of driving it. After a jump start, I found it would not shift out of first gear. Flatbed time!
