Sorry the keyed switch is from thosemilitaryguys and is rated for 1000A. It comes with welding cable for the connections and is well made.

visualg, the missing grommet was also missing on mine. It ended up being the perfect spot to mount a keyed main electric cutoff kit from hummerpartsguy. I use that both for security and an easy way to kill the electric when working on the humvee

I finished taking as many dents as possible from the M1102 I bought, powerwashing the live ammo and mud out of the bed, and painting it. Got it done just in time to haul the boys baseball team in the fireman’s parade.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I built an easily removable drawer system to take in and out as needed. I leave in my rubber pads under it to deaden the sound then it slides in and uses concealed turnbuckles to attach to the tie downs already in the bed. I aimed for under 100lb to move it by myself or easily with a friend. I...

Coug, which transmission do you have in your truck? That's pretty good mileage at that weight but I saw you also said you were 65 on the highway. Thanks

Inspector1, can you mention a little more about the kit? The model you ordered, any extra parts needed outside of the kit, how the install went and first impressions? Thanks!

Mogman, thanks for the review. Were your previous tires the standard goodyear M/T? Just curious what the new one is quieter than. Are you running the same rims as before or new wheels as well? Thanks

I really like the cupholders, do you mind telling where you got them from? I'll be interested in your 3D printed glovebox idea too. I have a printer and would like to try that. Thanks also to FKAM and milcommoguy for their take on smoke. My other three diesels have either a DEF system...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Hauled out two 18" by 10' culvert pipes to the farm and installed them. Widened the atv trails to 10ft wide and ran the HMMWV down them to the ditches where they needed to be installed. It was nice to actually see how the truck performs on slopes! I did have one question though. The first...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Years ago I built a playhouse for my kids that is on top of 6x6 pressure treated posts. I am enclosing the bottom of it as a storage area for mowers/lawn tools. Doing that so I can relocate a shed I only partially use. The long term plan is to clear out an area to build a detached storage...

Found a great way to smooth the ride out, add 1500lb of soaking pressure treated lumber in the back! It drove so smooth!

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

We just surf fished and in the summer the water temp is too high for larger fish. My son and father in law cleaned up on flounder, croaker and spot. Made for a nice dinner. It was awesome riding out before dawn on the beach and just relaxing. Felt good after wrenching on the HMMWV for...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Got a lot done the past few weeks. Finished repainting the soft top and doors using alcohol thinned behr exterior paint and spraying. It worked very well, especially using cheap duct tape in place of masking tape for the rubber seals. Installed a radio box I built from a surplus equipment...

Finished fabricating and mounting my modified copy of a Luverne brushguard. Was going to add the expanded metal but liked it better without it.
