Just tested again. Same with return hose disconnected. Same idle. Also if I remove rear connector it doesn't change anything. I may pull cover off to see if cold start solenoid is stuck open.

I have read every TM dealing with IP's and only find disassembly. Haven't found a flow chart for the symptoms I'm having. I appreciate all the help.

It went down and was idling way less than before. I'm wondering if I should try and disconnect the rear terminal on ip. That is the cold start advance?

Ran hose to bucket. Good stream of diesel coming out with return disconnected.

I'm going to do that right now. Is that the cold start solenoid or the shut off solenoid I have circled? Confused.

This one I pulled no start. I did blow out the return line again with my compressor and it started and ran normal for about 2 mins and ramped up.

I pulled the front one and no start. I thought this was fast idle solenoid. Would it be the back one?

My mistake, I've bought so many parts I got seller confused. Still has positive feedback plus 20 years on eBay.

I know, but thinking that someone that sells tons of HMMWV parts on Ebay would try and scam someone by listing a IP that he says was fully functioning except that it was not for a 6.2. It was a 400 dollar IP and I'm out my labor of having to remove and reinstall. Pretty sick of getting scammed...

Where is cold start solenoid, is it on pump?

Is there a cold start solenoid on the DB2? I'm reading all the standayne manuals I can find.

It goes to high idle as soon as started. I have the throttle return as far back as it goes. I'm going to check return line to see if it's clogged.
