I have a 94 LMTV, so probably old, splined. I grabbed a spare CCUV handle and it fit on both window and door shafts. Again the door shaft is shorter, so the handle will fit on the shafts but won't go on far enough for the lock ring to settle in place and hold it there.
I noticed this post going on, with a lot of technical bits. The CCUV window handles fit perfectly for the window crank, they also will work for the door handle, though they have to be ground or filed down a bit for the lock ring to hold them in place on the door handle as it is shallower shaft...
