    I finally finished my winch rebuild. The previous owner had the truck stored outside and water had leaked into the winch. The bearings were rusted solid. I rebuilt it using parts from Big Mike's Motor pool. He was great to work with (as so mentioned by everyone here!) For some reason my winch...

    Replaced my oil gauge, simple enough. Removed and disassembled my locked up winch, found pinion bearings rusted. Will begin the clean and rebuild as soon as i procure the bearings, seals and gaskets.
