This is not true, go and read the law again, only HMMWVs with an OFF ROAD USE ONLY SF97 that weigh under 10K can be registered. ANY HMMWV with a "clear" SF97 can be registered. Re-read the bulletin in post #2

WELCOME to the forum! Sorry I miss read the first time, I have never seen that "supplement" when titling any HMMWV, sounds like a mistake on GP part.

I just picked up another M998, this one direct from DLA, I assume I want to pick the SF-97 if I want to title it in Texas.
