I am just curious, what kind of communications do these "convoys" use, back in my MVPA days (80s) we used military radios in the VHF range, I do not remember the freq. but it was said we had approval to use them.

Yes the 10 day forecast does push out to more than 10 days, it also changes of course because they have a hard enough time predicting what tomorrow will be, it now says the transition from north to south wind will be on Thursday not Friday so I MIGHT actually have a tail wind! The rain chances...
