I dunno. I think it would be safe to say that snug it (the spindle nut), then off about a half a turn. I would expect the wheel jacked up and spin it by hand and it should spin freely and slow gently - not suddenly like something is dragging.

If you pack the bearings correctly, an extra glob in that "well" between the inner and outer bearing shouldn't need to be filled.
I went out and searched for more opinions on "the glob of grease".
Mercedes claims a requirement for 60 grams in that "well".

You could buy a fancy plastic "bearing packer" and use a grease gun to pack the bearings... OR you could hand pack them. Back in the old days before plastic bearing packers were available by hand and no gloves worked just fine.

Me personally, about a quarter or a half turn back. You need room for expansion as the bearings heat up. Back it off, then spin the drum. It should rotate freely but if you grab the left and right of the drum and try to wiggle the drum left and right. There should be no "slop".
