    . Not my part. I found the picture of how it was used. @MarkM said he has one in Post #8 above. Guessing it might be a foot long? Just a guess. Wonder if that would be enough length to solve the problem?

    . Hate to admit that I know nearly nothing - but I did save a picture from a 2014 post from @MWMULES . This is how it is installed. Thinking though... Is your lunette ring bolted on? If so, I know for sure on my M989a1 there is an extension bolted on. .
