Picked up my first MEP-002A today
From the SE. Moved around from Livonia-redford area. Family is from Livonia mostly, huge bunch of them up in the Gaylord area as well. Then moved to AZ, then the military happened. Then wife/kids/kids again, now in swampy mississippi.- Munchies

Well, winter months is a whole nother she-bang. Grew up in MI :) Mississippi by the governments choice :( . I will clarify that I have started tons of 002/003;s at 60 degrees and warmer with zero preheat.- Munchies

I guess it depends on temps, but honestly I have never needed the glow plugs. All my 002's and 003's fire right up without glow plug pre-heat.- Munchies

I am sure they are, what I was saying is check the starter solenoid terminal for voltage as the main switch is put into start. If it is, then its the starter or solenoid.. If not, bad switch, bad k1 relay, or bad ground .- Munchies

Verify battery voltage when turned to start at the starter. Quickest way to start off. Odds are it will be something with the starter.- Munchies
