    Yes with the distributor pulled and engine at tdc #1 fire position, use a flashlight to look down the bore at the slot on the oil pump, repeated stab it until you get it where is needs to be for the rotor to point at #1 tower.

    Sure no problem to pull it with fender on. Watch your distributor timing, it requires the gear go back clocked the same way.
