    Well I did, but clearly my memory has failed me, it’s been 37 years since I replaced that plate on my A1.

    Is the builder plate still on the sponson behind the driver (edit: passenger) seat? Will have paint all over it. This has the serial no on it.

    Nice! Not a 1952 though. A 52 would have the hinged grille and thumbscrew retained battery box lid.
