    what about the high comp ratio of the engine? how much boost is it gonna take? are you gonna change the pistons to lower it?

    The 10.5 mpg was on stock 9.00x 20's screw @ stock setting. The trip was mississippi to michigan at an average of 10.5-10.6 mpg. On the 395's i get about 11.2.

    FWIW, my deuce gets 10.5 with a 105 in the back and flat towing a 1028 behind it.
