Ok, Picked up another dt466 (1984) this weekend. Bought it b/c its looked a lil simpler than the '95 466 i have. It is a no-intercooled engine with a standard trans atached to it. I have not ID'd the trans yet but this one might be an easier fit. I can not find any tag on the engine, dose anyone...

Its a 3053, and why wouldnt it mate up? I dont plan on using it but just curious where this came from.

Ok, im getting irritated as i cannot find the height X width X length, on the multi. seem like i have seen it many times before when i have not needed it.

Its going in a bobber and will have a at545 behind it. Moving things wont be a problem as its getting cut anyways.

So was I wrong or has someone done it? It shure seems that I saw a mention of a member that had done the swap but haven't heard anything yet.

Thanks for the input, But in no way do I want any part of a water/air intercooler. Save it for the boats. Air to air works just fine with much less complication.

Yea the intercooler was another consern but i have one from a dt408 that looks like it would stand a good chance of sneaking in there. I fit an intercooler in a cucv with the stock radiator location and no grill mods so I would think the deuce would be easier, I hope.

I have not had a multi out of the truck yet but the 466 is huge compared to the 5.9's. Had me concerned if it would be a no go.
