Gimp, You still have drop side gates? Yea I'll get some more pics tomarrow. We plucked the body off of a 1009 today, Kinna cool to be able to grab it and move it off to the side insted of dissassembling the whole thing.
Recovery was right ! Its getting a bed. After using it all day today, The bed makes more sence for now. I have a drop side that I think I will cut down for it.

I apreciate your veiw on the bed / hitch advice. Truthfully this truck isnt going to be used a lot for hauling parts, If at all. The primary use for this truck (for me) is to move stuff around the property and when we do scrap clean outs. As far as fetching parts, I just use my dodge.

Got the hydraulic tank mounted. Modified deuce fuel tank hangars to fit a new tank I bought off of a local junk collector. I had to cut 4in out of the tank to make it look like it belonged there. If you look close you can see the cut and weld going length wise around the tank.
Went back yesterday to get the drive dog off of the transfercase shaft WTF !!!! are they always a royal pain in the azz to get off? also how cruicial is the little anti drain back valve in the t-case that goes in the oil hole above the bearing where the pto mounts?
Got the t-case pto yesterday so this should make it easier to do the pto pump. I will still try to find a different trans pto option for future projects.
Anyone know the distance from the king pin to the cab (or closest obstruction) on a 275 or 818?
