Your M211 bed boards are super good looking. Functional as well. Our Weasel stories sound about the same except yours looks a lot nicer than mine.

Ah yes, chain keeps from bending the stakes with a load of grain. My father-in-laws 57 Chevy with a Tempe bed was equipped with chains as well. ~~ How about M37keppy starting a thread about his Weasel!!!

Picture of our M220. Managed to get it out of the weeds, install new batteries and service the fluids. Hung a flag on it and parked it at the entrance of the farm to mark Memorial Day.

My guess is that the front mounted pintel was used to spot trailers. Easier to push one into a row or tight spot than to back a trailer in. I have a front receiver to launch my boat from its trailer. Tow it to the lake from the rear and re attach to the front so as to put it right where I want...

We have been waiting first for the snow to melt and then for the rains to let up for the fields to dry so we can move her without wallowing in the mud. I did find a trailer I wanted to tow with our M220, but I frankly got out...

Can you find any of the old bumper identification? The white paint was applied to ours sometime 1962 or before as that was when Harry Diamond Labs became the name of that research arm. We found "Harry Diamond Laboratories" on top of white paint on the van body. What we could not fine was any...

Actually, we are in the process of learning all sorts of things about the truck. It was only surplussed because it was getting difficult to buy parts. We found Memphis Equipment papers in the glove box where ignition specifications were provided as well as other "settings" information. The...

What the heck, mine's still a work in progress, but here it is. First photo was taken at Barstow GL just after the 4th of July weekend 2010 when we picked it up. No ECU was required. Worked hard for a month and a half to get it in some sort of shape to display at the Colorado Sport Air Show on...
