    Actually so was mine, but Ken who helped me get it running suggested we wire it, IIRC. In my case (and likely yours too) it doesn't move easily at all, so was not prone to jumping around. I think safety wiring is just a good idea--lot of vibration in these machines.

    I think the pumps are the same... I'd not try to swap in the bits and pieces for a precision set, there are a number of things that must be changed out. I've a injection pump from a precision model (or at least I was told it was a precision model) and it looks identical to my utility model...

    I think what R Racing is looking at is that the 400 Hz model is a precision setup (with a hydraulic governor) and the 60 Hz are utility units with the straight mechanical governor.
