    I've used many different styles of o-rings for over 10 years now and ''grease'' or ''break-away'' has never caused a problem!     If you guys would leave the tire bolted on the truck and replace the O-ring like I described earlier in the post the tire wouldnt tip over! but I agree that $50 is a good deal if you dont want to mess with it!
