You notice the difference more at lower speeds, hearing protection is still required at higher speeds. Imo.

I installed a dynomax (similar to the turbine)on my cargo deuce c turbo. I took db readings before the install and at road speed it was about 101 db's in the cab. The manufacturer of this style of glass pack muffler promises around a 4 db reduction on race car applications, doesn't sound like...

The dynomax fits behind the shield ,can't tell its there unless you look close,(see my album) , the d b level diff is about 3, don't worry, there's still plenty of noise!

The dynomax is a slight interference fit over the stock pipe and you can weld or use a special steped clamp that you can get from napa.

I put a dynomax on my deuce (can be seen in one of my threads) I think glass pack style mufflers work well on the deuce.
