    What you need is a voltage converter. Pyle makes some pretty good ones that you can buy off of amazon.com for less than $40.

    This is in my M35A3. I hung 4 of them from roof bracket and I mounted 2 subs in the bed. I also mount 2 PA's on the front and 2 PA's on the bed rails. You can check out my build thread (link in signature) for more info.

    You could always fabricate something up for it to be permanently mounted in the map/glove box. Then you wouldn't need a separate battery. A little more work on the front end but better for the long haul.

    I wasn't suggesting for you to use a cooler. I was just saying that many people have built those and you might get some idea about what size battery to use based off of those builds. In case anybody isn't familiar with what I am talking about, some pictures are attached.

    Two of my buddies have built self contained stereo/speaker systems from small coolers. We use one of them at the beach and it will blast music all day long from its motorcycle battery. You might try to google "speaker cooler" and see what people have done. The same principles will apply but...
