    Since the machine seems to handle a full load when applied in steps, I'm not convinced you have a fuel injector issue. Sounds more like a governor adjustment issue or maybe sticky metering pump arms causing slow governor response. Out of curiosity, I would throw the same load on it, let it bog...

    So if I'm reading correctly, the machine will take at least 54A by stepping up incrementally without issue, but it's a bit finiky if you dump the load on it too quickly?
