    The 90° bolt angle was necessary for the center mount turbo. It wasn't a perfecf design but a necessary design to put diesels in vans. I also agree that it just directs air into the engine. I would seriously ponder the feasibility if modding the intake just to get it on the road.

    Sounds like one head is from a center mount turbo 6.5. That really sucks.
