Walter, where did you find that map? I searched that site high and low and couldn't find it. I even tried from the URL on the top right of yours with negative results.
Good idea Joe! I booked the same cabin this year as I had last year, Mallards Nest 1. It isn't listed as having heat and air but I know that it does. I'll bet lunch that yours has both. Just the same, I'll bring some extra heat with me. I have the same magnet and I'll bring it!
Folks, find or create some way of folks to be able to identify your cabins. I may shop for a small banner or the like to display on mine! Last year our cabin could be identified by the long row of muddy $5 boots on the front stoop!
Gang, I just reserved Mallards Nest 1 for Oct 21 thru 24. When I booked this Mallards Nest 2 (Adjoining Cabin) was still available. The cabins went kinda fast last year, get one reserved while you can, it can be canceled 7 days prior to arrival.
My route will most likely be the turnpike to I75 to Macon then rte 129 to Union Point. On the way back I may convoy with Lloyd and take US 1 south and follow that through SE GA and visit with Papercu as I did last year.
I'll be shacking it at Durhamtown Plantation. They have camp sites for tents to motorhomes. They also have permanently placed RV trailers for rent as well as some cabins. Last year we stayed in Mallards Nest One. It's not the Hilton but cozy and sufficient for a bunch of MVers. Check out the...
