Let me start by saying when I bought my M108 the boom supports were attached to the boom in the storage position just as they're supposed to be. Nestled right alongside the base of the crane was another pair. The ones by the base are a slip design using pins for position. They're rusted stuck...

Same as a 5 ton basically. The 5 tonners are adjustable though. I'll get outside late tomorrow and compare the ones I have here but they look interchangable
