    they get removed...as well, you have to flip the bolt around on the lower control arm to install the milemarker winch plate. this is a pita to,say the least on the left side. I can also,tell you the bracket you are referring may be the wrong bracket. the actual milemarker frame bracket is void...

    The MM install is in the new manuals...not the older m998 series. you may have a hard time finding some of those parts if MM won't sell them...maybe someone has a bad winch.bmy MM has them and it's new in the crate.
