    Thank you 86humv ...just never actually never really knew the purpose, and I actually did try to search that subject doghead, but more than likely, I just wasn't using the correct terminology to find the topic anywhere.

    I looked for a "Silly Question" category in this forum but couldn't find it. Question: Is the screw on cap and electrical connection which it covers, in front of the Shifter, for a radio connection or some sort of diagnostic plug in, or something else??? Thanks, Richdane
