    What's that? Right from the ECM

    They can repair an internal power supply but they cannot change the battery on an ECM? yes, the designers were hacks... they used a volatile memory that would kill the ECU when the memory battery died(Lot of money in proprietary parts)... Supposedly cat changed this design...
