    Well, my Plano Sportsman's box was not in the Mess Tent M105 trailer, and it has not shown up anywhere else either. It can be replaced, as well as the dirty clothes, the pillow and the three rally tee shirts. What hurts is that I've lost my blood glucose meter kit and my records that were in it.

    Has DT brought out the wash stations yet? We left seven of them there last year with the proviso that they could use them the other 51 weeks of the year but all would be available for us when we came. If there are they stocked with soap and towels?

    Probably made the mud a little deeper. Most of the rain did not happen in the AO (Area of Operation), so it's quite possible there will be dust churned up by the vehicles when you get there.

    Joe, I'll have the Baofeng hooked to a mag mount antenna sitting on the front hood of my deuce. Most of the civilian radios are not going to be 24v so you need to figure the power part in your equation. I'll be running on the HT battery coming in.

    Before you get all 'fired up' (pun intended), better look into the Georgia Regulations on open fires. Anything larger than a small cooking fire has to have a permit, approved 30 days in advance. You want a bonfire, get your paperwork in first!
