April 22, 1982. US Park Police Anacostia River - Photos by Charles A Pereira.
As you can see, I've traced our vehicle back to about 1982 with the US Park Police. This picture was taken prior to the blue paint job seen in a previous post. :-D
The first picture is of our V100 in 2004 at Fort Meade, MD DRMO by Broward County Sheriff's Office staff (they declined the vehicle). The second picture shows our V100 recently after being restored and used by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office from 2004 to 2013. The third picture shows our...
10676 is our serial number!
I really want to thank all of you who have been so helpful and forthcoming with technical assistance and genuine support. It is because of that knowledge and support that will make this versatile vehicle a true asset to the department. Serving country and community...
Question ... this is a picture of our V100 engine compartment with the interior panels removed. Our mechanic inquired the original purpose for the hole seen in the picture? It is on the panel too so I’m sure it effects the engine noise inside and radiator air flow. Thank you in advance for the...
Paint, tires and ram installed.
Still looking for manuals. No luck on Ebay. I tried two military TM distributors with no luck. If anyone comes across one on Ebay or know of a source please let me know. City mechanic said it would be helpful.
Our V100 was dropped off at the paint shop this morning (with a gps tracking unit installed of course). Should have a picture posted this Friday if weather cooperates. The tires are scheduled to arrive this afternoon. They are 2.7" smaller in diameter; however, five brand new Michelin XZL...
Our V heads to the paint shop next week. I will post the picture when it returns. We have new Michelin XZL tires that we will mount after it gets back from paint.

The V100 arrived in Orange City this afternoon. Will start working on pics. Citris County agreed to leave the tires and wheels on the vehicle.
Should have MRAP tire and wheel assembly (nsn 2530015725445) delivered next week. XZL 395/85R20 on 20" wheel. Little smaller tire than the 1400x20 by about 2" but price was too good.
Gerald got me a NSN for a wheel that can be modified. Found some at a TX base that I can get free under the 1033 program (just pay for shipping) so that is great news.
I have three NSN's for the 1400/12 tires but none found it the DOD surplus system. Will keep hunting. Worse case, will buy...
If I had the NIIN or NSN for the tires it would make my hunt a ill easier.
As far as the tires and wheels ... Well i really don't know for sure BUT they were removed and are remaining at their county fleet maintenance storage lot. I'd like to think they have another county vehicle to use it...
Without question WGTactical will be incredibly helpful with our V100. I've had the opportunity to visit various websites and his V100 is amazing. I showed my commander and a few officers some pictures and video of his V100 and we are excited. I hope WGTactical will also get us on a path to...
I think WGTactical will be a invaluable resource! I've taken a few hours to visit his projects from the web, to include his personal V100, which inspired my chief and the other officers to buy in to our little project. We just need tires and wheels at a reasonable cost (I know - I'm dreaming)...
That would be great!! PLEASE KEEP ME IN MINE. This was a non-budget requisition from DOD law enforcement program so we are going to seek out support from our community to get it operational. The sheriff's office in Florida who had the vehicle did a great job since 2004 making great...
I need some assistance. I just acquired this 1969 V-100 for our police department's use. Runs great with one problem, tires and wheels have been removed and replaced with obvious the inappropriate tires and wheels.
I was told we need to purchase 14.5 x 20 12 ply "run flat" tires. That...
