    I doubt you'll find a 12K RPM hyd pump. Does the generator head spin at 12K also, or is it geared down some? If it's got some kind of reduction on it, you could just use what's already there.

    goldneagle, I don't know for sure, but I think the gen head swap would be impractical because of the speed at which the turbine would be turning. I think they turn pretty darn fast, and you would actually need to slow it way down to get to the 1800 or 3600 RPM range needed for a/c generation...
