    Like harley said, they run on one pump. The second pump was put there for redundancy. The military frowns on loosing power during critical times because of a fuel pump going bad...that's why there is 2

    It mounts right behind the auxiliary fuel pump, the same 2 bolts bolt both pumps on. The Aux pump it the one with the big solenoid on top of it.
