    My GMC, a little update

Are you OK? These things hit hard sometimes, and even though this is a delayed reaction .... Take good care of yourself. Remember the good times. The rest is just prop wash.

How can we miss you, if you won't go away? Seriously, when the care package reaches you, back to work!

Do NOT try to drink Ron under the table! You will end up with an empty wallet and a world class hangover! Seriously, Ron is a good troop, and I'm glad that you will get to meet him.

Nice Isuzu. I have one almost exactly like it (Rodeo). It lost a vent window today, due to a break in, but the only thing that the crack head cost me was the window. Some of our crew caused him to bolt. Guys with guns seem to be a deterrent. He left before our crew had a reason to fill...

Regimental Sargeant Major Ron Snellgrove, and his wife Gail, are almost on the road to Mesa. He has your contact info and the "Goodie Bag". There is an extra in there for you! Once he has the RV set up, he says that he will be doing some travelling. Your home base will probably be on his route...

If it's only $100 USA, it's probably better for you. If I hear that one of our snowbirds is going close to you, I will let you know. Had I known, 2 of my Legion members were recently near your home base. Bit late now, but if I hear of another RV heading your way.....

Tom, do you have the bows to put a tarp on the bed? If not, the bow corners that Digger Dave gave me are yours for shipping. I'm keeping the Troop Seat Brackets. Once I have the MKT functional, I'll be back to working on proper seating, and the winch! We found local trailer bows, so...

    My GMC, a little update

Tom, you have really impressed me. the job that you took one, would make a weak man run! You know that we watch this thread. I'm really glad that you and Digger Dave hooked up. When you get the road test, you will see why we love these beasts. I want video of yours! Only because it will...

It looks like some people are saying that they appreciate what you are doing. The donations for our M135 have been incredible, and now we have added a few more vehicles that we use for the veterans. ... M36A3, M105, M37, WC52 ... Enjoy, you've done a great job!

For the glow plugs, just do what my old Land Cruiser had. A Momentary ON switch will be more than enough. If you can't count to 5 "Steamboats" before releasing the toggle switch, you should not drive anything more complicated than a Toyota Tercell!

I see that we are finally getting to first name basis! The way that it should be!

That is why the smart folks live on the Left Coast! There is still a Beer waiting for Digger Dave at the Legion. Gun Freak, If you make it up here, I think that I can stand one for you too!

I guess I know which name will be on the companion side front window. Take care, and do pass on my condolences. Stan.

    My GMC, a little update

We are getting ready for the Toy Drive, and here is the beast with an un-restored M105 .... we need a place to haul the donated bikes (for needy kids.. not you Dave!) Anyways, I hooked on to it today and took it back to the compound. I didn't even notice it there. It tracked like a champ...

5 years. Signed up and before I knew it, I had to unsign and get commisioned. Retired as 1st Lt. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

    My GMC, a little update

That goofy Dave just, dumped me a buch of parts to complete an M105A1, that we would like to use for our Christmas Toy Drive. Thanks! I'll pop up to the farm to pick them up, as soon as the snow lets up. My driver is a crazy SOB, and there isn't enough Rye Whiskey in this world, to keep me...

Dave is a good troop. You won't meet any finer! Actually, most of the crew on this site, are guys who you would love to sink a beer with!:beer:

    My GMC, a little update

I can send you 2 of my welders, but shipping and up keep for those thirsty buggers, would make buying an M1 tank cheap by comparison! These are the 2 legged kind of welders. The beer bill alone is enough to drain your wallet!

    My GMC, a little update

I know what the rebuild of both items cost us... Grab it! We're good for a few more years, and I removed the single (12V) battery tap ....
