You can keep the 24 volt injector pump that is on it. You will have to run 24 volts to the top of the injector pump for it to work ( with a switch in the cab to turn on or off the engine ). Or just swap the top cap from a 12 volt injector pump. ( best way to go ).[thumbzup]
When you pick-up the engines, take a look at the front left side of the engine at the bottom of the head. I hope it 's not marked "6.2L"
You can't always go by what GL list as part # or NSN's. Did you click on the NSN ? It's listed as a 6.2L.
The engine "can" may have a different numbers...
