Just as a small update we installed the winch last week on the truck and it is now complete. The owner has put on about 5000 miles on it since the restoration and drives it quite often.
Yes there are hard tops kicking around as all of our trucks had them but most are in bad shape as the troops usualy used them for chairs leaveing dents in them.

I know it has been a while since I updated the pictures but have been busy. The truck had a setback when it all of a suden started to over heat with the newly aquired NOS rad that he purchased from a local club member. He pulled the head thinking that it was a head gasket only to find out doing...
Well it can now drive under its own power and just about done except for the hood and some of the interior and installing the new glass for the front and sides. If all goes good it might be on the road by this friday.
From what I was told they had the small round mirriors untill the early 70's when they then installed the larger west cost mirriors due to goverment regulations.
Thanks for the comments. This is where we are at as of 3 weeks worth of work and I hope to have the fenders and hood painted in the next week so we can start assembly of the truck.
I thought I would post some pictures of a M135 I am helping to restore for a club member here in Alberta. The truck was a good runner to begin with but a simple clean up and paint snowballed into a complete taredown.
