    Thats the number one thing I miss from going to lmtvs from m939 trucks. I loved opening the front windows in the summer.

    LMTVs are geared for the tires on them. The m939 trucks are geared for duals. If you need pulling power the lmtv has significantly more than a m939 truck with singles on it.

    The lmtv is more street able. Either one is great for carrying a big heavy load down a dry dirt road. The lmtv has more creature comforts and the cab heater is better. A few of the m939 trucks had lockers. None available for LMTVs.
