If you throw enough money at anything it can usually be done. I personally prefer the less expensive route though. I do think a camper body could be installed on any of the cargo or tractor lmtv trucks relatively easily though. As long as you are not playing musical axles in the process that is.
They all look the same. Rockwell axletech and meritor are all the same company but at one time they all had separate part numbers for the same nsn axle. The middle axle has an geared assembly that brings the input and output up and towards the drivers side.
Its all wheel drive 30 front 70 percent rear. Both rears are linked via driveshaft same as m939 trucks. Mode on the trans control will give you 50 50 and lock the center diff forcing both driveshafts to turn at the same speed.
The center axle has a offset geared input and output. I don't see any point in bobbing a 6x6 truck when the 4x4 version is widely available. There is a lot more air brake stuff going on in the lmtv compared to the m939 trucks. The 4x4 trucks have pretty clear lower frame rails of you wanted to...
