    Engine speed sensor question

The trans computer uses the 3 sensors for combined input. Anything being a bit off can affect the shifting. Since you swapped the motor I would think the tps could benefit from alignment. I believe the engine speed sensor signal is counted as pulses. So slight voltage variations may not matter...

    Engine speed sensor question

I believe there is a specific adjustment for the tps. Probably in the repair tm under replacement of.

    Engine speed sensor question

Does it give you any codes now? There is a throttle position sensor on the engine also. I believe there is an adjustment procedure in the tm for it.

    Engine speed sensor question

The output speed sensor on the trans is a common failure item. Sometimes it will be a bit off and not throw a code. It's an inexpensive easy part to replace.

    Engine speed sensor question

If it fits it should work. Screw in till it just touches the flywheel and then back off one turn and tighten down.

    Engine speed sensor question

Will look for one tommorrow. The trans uses that for input when shifting so you could get odd shifts if it was bad.

    Engine speed sensor question

If it has the copper coil coming out of it then its bad. Got too close to the flywheel. I might have a good used one.

I have a used one. When installed too far in they end up like yours. Its one of the trans ecu input signals.
