    I have never seen any type of sensor on any truck I have had. And there have been several a1s. Never checked for the dash light though.

    Sorry there is a spring that pushes the latch in locked and its constant hyd pressure while raising.

    The latch has continuous pressure, in the respective direction, when the cab is being raised or lowered.
