I have been following this thread, and I am glad things worked out. That being said, in a thread that I started about my slantback, I quoted a corollary of Murphy's law:

Is your auto tranny shifting past second gear? Are fluids in tranny topped up?
Is your transfer case in high?
Are your brakes locking up?
Is your Ebrake locking up?
