CUCVs on base. How many left?

I keep seeing them in background shots on auction sites. When I was flying in Northen California earlier this month, I spotted several in use at different government facilities and more in the DRMO lots. They do stand out on a Military base. Prices have definitely gone up.

I am very familiar with Kirkland. I know exactly where you are talking about. Just never seen CUCVs in that area. Thanks for the heads up!

CUCVs on base. How many left?

I've put my M1009 in long term storage in a shipping container. Will do same for a M1008. Both are for my daughters when they get older. Wife also wants her very own M1008. Several good ones have come and gone lately at auction. I wasn't paying close enough attention and let them slip away...

CUCVs on base. How many left?

I've been very lucky with all the MV's I bought so far from the military. All have been much better than expected. My 1008 "looked" the worse, but once home realized all the really expensive work/parts was already done by military. Im bidding now on a Army SEE (Small Emplacement Excavator) A...

CUCVs on base. How many left?

Most of these are way worse than what the military is selling. I've been looking at the GSA site. Most are hamburger I prefer mine straight from the military. Still a crapshoot of course

CUCVs on base. How many left?

When I picked up my first CUCV at Fort Hood there were about 10-15 CUCVs waiting to be sold. Only saw 1008 & 1009s about half of each. But a lot have been sold out of there so I'm sure Pickens are slim there now. Can find some with google earth on the bases but it's not updated often enough...

CUCVs on base. How many left?

It's impossible to know exactly how many CUCVs are left for auction I know. Just curious what everyone is seeing while their on base. Some are still in service of course, but really interested in those that are ready to be cut loose from Uncle Sam. GP auction pics show a few CUCVs sitting in...

CUCVs on base. How many left?

I know this has been discussed before but it's been a while. How many CUCVS have been seen lately waiting to be sold? Sometimes you can see a few in the background in GP listing pics. I know quite a few are still serving. The auction pool is getting smaller each week I'm in the market for...
