Any updates?

One thing at a time.

Still need a dedicated Generator Only Forum. The generator threads drown everything else out.

Anything not Genset related in the Auxiliary Equipment Forum gets swamped over with all the Genset threads. Any info on a dedicated forum for Gensets only?

A quick look shows right away that the forum, as it looks right now, is totally dominated by genset threads.

It would be much easier to move the non-generator threads into another forum.

Exactly I thought I had mentioned earlier that it would be easier to move the non-generator threads into another location. Then just label the current location Generators or??? once the unrelated threads are moved. Right now it's a total PITA to find info in there that's not genset related.

Any update or decision?

Its not my website. Do as you wish I know I don't see the big picture. Never claimed too. Haven't a clue as to the specifics on such an idea. I really don't think your being negative. I just thought it would help others

Do it just like the trailer forum. Look how many different trailers there are. They are all covered under one forum title. GenSets/Generators or whatever you want to title it will work just fine for all of them. Seems like there's more than enough threads to justify its own forum. Some...

Start with "Generators". That alone would help a lot. If it's determined that sub-forums are needed, then great. You have to start somewhere.

I think it would be easier to move the non-Generator threads.

A sub-forum for Generators and related equipment. Then within that you can search for gas, diesel, Kw size etc. or however it's decided. It would be a lot easier than it is now looking and searching for info that isn't genset related

Administrators~ Time for a Generator only forum!? Threads for Generators totally dominate this forum. It makes it very difficult to sort through to find other info that isn't GenSet related. Can the Generators have their own forum? Looks like they certainly need it. Just a thought...
