Update:
Just past the 2 year mark after install.
The headlights have been flawless.
Zero issues and they always work when needed.
Lenses are not clouding at all and are holding up extremely well to road debris/bugs without pitting.
(Granted I’m not driving on the interstate going 80)...
If you have 15 minutes and a Phillips screwdriver, your set.
Extremely easy.
Don’t forget to put electric grease on the connectors and lube your buckets.
I use a fence or wall to rough aim.
Then I go to a dark road that I know is almost never traveled at night and do a final aim.
Suits my preference on how I like them.
I haven't had anyone flash their brights at me yet.
The truck-lites in my 5 ton are the same way to some extent.
I think...
This thread tells how old mine are.
I have not heard about any revisions.
They are getting better and the TL 5 ton lights do have a totally new design.
So it would not surprise me if there is a new version.
He's correct.
The spots are there. Slight.... subtle.....but definitely there.
If their not aimed correctly (too low) you stare at them on the road.
I then realized I had them aimed too low.
Did adjustment (much better!!!) and no issue now unless you drive towards a wall.
I still love the...
Just checked
They have been removed from website
They had the normal led headlights
The ones that are designed for either left or right side traffic
And the heated version, which is no longer visible on site.
It had the new part number and in the specs the amp draw with and without the...
The amp draw is way less than regular halogens.
So Im betting the relay mod isn't needed.
I did not install one.
I've had mine on high beam only for over 7+ hours straight and they didn't miss a beat.
Above two threads are correct.
Do NOT forget to lube the bucket tabs that have already been mentioned.
Without grease, which is what I used, the new plastic adjustment seats will strip out in about one/two turns.
Makes all the difference!!
Look at front, top left corner of the copy light, no logo.
But in their other listing photos, they use one stock photo of a real one, which is illegal to do.
A real Truck-Lite has their logo molded into the housing in that location.
Buy the real thing from a reliable seller and pay...
Those are not Truck-Lites
They use stock photos of TL lights to fool you into buying their copy brand.
Real TL lights have a 3 year warranty. These knock offs say one.
Copy brands are always cheaper.
You cannot post specific info/link about an active auction.
TL is a official US Military...
Light bar really isn't a very fair comparison.
The photo on the box is pretty much like it is.
Nice bright white light.
Throws the light downrange very well also.
Will try for pics later.
Do a search. Pics like what you requested have been posted before.
Did a controlled burn on part of the ranch a few days ago.
I was in the M1008A1 as usual, doing fire watch and hauling chainsaw, dogs,
etc. including M101A2
Once the sun set, new lights on truck were on for about 7+ hours straight.
All high beam.
Didn't miss a beat and definitely earned...
