I agree. With a quick search on here, there are some nice trucks in that price range and some that are much less, all from respected members. I suppose that's probably the biggest reason. Seems safer and looks way better with the MRAP rims and adapter plates to me.

I wonder why he did that, why not just have the run flats in the tires instead and them mounted on MRAP rims.

I'd trust a fellow SS member before someone off Ebay or the like. Bill has been a member for a while and he's posted a lot of the work he's done. It's well worth a look.

I would check the classifieds here. There was some nice trucks under 10K. Don't be afraid to drive out of state if need be, makes for a fun road trip. I drove 700+ miles for mine and so have many others. Just be patient, you'll find a nice one for a good price.
